Our Vision Zone events bring together a variety of excellent services and charities covering your local area.

No matter what your sight loss condition we are here for you. Whether it’s just to gain knowledge or hands on experience of new technologies, entry is free to our events, and our friendly staff will greet you with a warm welcome.

Music Workshop for Disability Equals Ability (DEA) 2nd September 2026

Supported by DEA, David Shervill and Jim Chorley facilitated a fun music afternoon for clients at the Medley Centre in Trowbridge, as part of their Health Horizon Well-Being project. Everyone had fun writing, recording, playing with sound and technology. Thank you to everyone involved for making this session happen.

We will be at the Audio Developers Conference 2025

I am pleased and excited to announce that Sam Prouse and I will be presenting  at this year’s Audio Development Conference.  We will be speaking about and demonstrating examples of accessible music software, and how and why collaboration is important in the development process.

Collaboration is key to Bridging Music, Technology, Accessibility and Education for everyone to use, experience and enjoy.

Inclusive Music Project October – November 2024

We have been continuing to facilitate our Inclusive Music Workshops with school pupils in Portsmouth. It was great to meet with Cllr Chris Attwell and share the progress of the project so far, and how well it is going. This is thanks to funding from Portsmouth City Council’s Community Inclusion Grant 2024 – 2025. Thanks to Freelance Musician Jim Chorley for his support so far on this project.
