Global Music Visions on the radio!

Global Music Visions were guests at Awaaz Community Radio in Southampton on the Danny Sunder show on September 13th, 2015.

We talked to the listeners about what GMV does, why GMV was founded, and our aims and objectives.

Listeners were invited to phone, text, or email the station with any questions. GMV was able to offer suggestions and share points of view surrounding accessibility issues, and living with visual impairment.

Musician publishes ‘Music Inspiration’ album with help from Global Music Visions

Global Music Visions has been working for over a year now as part of the Rant Music Project, at the Charles Dickens Centre, Lake Road in Portsmouth.

We have been working with David Ord, a musician who plays the Clarinet and saxophone. He wanted to be recorded playing along to some of his favourite songs.

Now, with our support, he has got an album of his own called Music Inspiration, and there may be more in the future.

The afternoon showed that, by understanding the game rules, and respecting the needs of fellow players, everyone could join in.

We create digital music workshops with the visually impaired consultancy, for blind, visually impaired and disabled people of all ages.
