We are pleased to be able to give the Red Sauce Theatre Company a first version of the backing track, ready for rehearsals for their upcoming production “D-Day on your Doorstep”.

The GMV Music group focused on recording various vocal tracks including lead, backing vocals, and harmonies. It was great to be back at the Charles Dickens Activity Centre in Portsmouth.

We are pleased to be working with the students at Toynbee School again. Working with Jim Chorley, this Inclusive Music Project is a Pilot, supported by Music Fusion. This is a great opportunity for the group to explore music technology, creative writing, and develop ideas they have.

The GMV Music group continued developing their song today. They have added more instruments, vocal harmonies, and percussion. It was a really productive afternoon, enjoyed by all.
Losing My Sight UK asked Global Music Visions C.I.C. to record brief audio descriptions for their upcoming Touring Exhibition.

The purpose of this touring Exhibition is to showcase the work of those who are blind and partially sighted, demonstrating that regardless of your level of sight you can enjoy photography, or explore other interests you may have. The accompanying audio description enhances the viewing experience for those who are blind or partially sighted.
The Exhibition is running from 11th March, until 31st October 2019.

We facilitated an introductory Music Technology and songwriting workshop for Losing My Sight UK in Basingstoke. With support from Jim Chorley, the group started writing a song, and also explored using real and virtual instruments and recording with David Shervill. The group recorded a rough demo version of the song.

First session back for the GMV Music Group. They decided on how they would like the group to move forward, and continued working on their song. They looked at vocal harmonies and drums/percussion instruments for the track.
We were asked by Artist Clarke Reynolds to create an extension to our Seascape soundtrack, for use during his upcoming art workshops, at Aspex Gallery, Community Spaces, and Schools.
Included is a picture of David Shervill and Clarke Reynolds, at The Hotwalls, Southsea.
Clarke’s first workshop begins on 14th April 2019 at Aspex Gallery, Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth, 11am-1pm, for people who are blind and partially sighted.
